There’s a certain excellence that can result from very creative minds working collaboratively. Steinway and Lalique are just such brands. The two luxury brands collaborate in designing the new Heliconia piano
Some of the world’s most talented designers and artists have worked with Steinway & Sons over the last 100 years to create a variety of unique and striking pianos. And the latest creation is no different –it’s the fruits of a collaboration between the piano designer and renowned crystal maker Lalique.
Both brands have long histories of excelling in craftsmanship – Steinway & Sons has been synonymous with high standards for more than 160 years, while Lalique’s creations have all been produced in the factory in Alsace since 1888.
Now, in a nod to their shared passion for design, the two have delved into the Lalique archives to produce the Heliconia flower, originally created by Marie-Claude Lalique, grand-daughter of founder René.
